Berkeley Island Park and the Barnegat Bay------- 10---10.5 Miles

If you are new to my hikes you have to message or email me before you can register for this hike. Priority on my hikes will be given to those who attend the hike or who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours ahead of time.
We begin at B2 Bistro Parking Lot in Bayville on Bayview Avenue. We pass the big, beautiful houses in the Berkeley Shores Development. We continue on to M J 's Restaurant for bathrooms and short break. Now back on Bayview Avenue to Berkeley Island Park. At the park we break for lunch, bathrooms, snacks and views.
This route offers panoramic views of wetlands and waterways. We might even see an osprey or two. Berkeley Island Park is 25 acres offers spectacular views of Barnegat Bay. This location provides possibly the best views of Barnegat Bay. This park is situated on a scenic peninsula jutting out into the calm waters of Barnegat Bay. Before heading back we circle the island. I am adding a stop at the Butler Beach on the trek back.
The hike is approximately 10 miles and we will try to walk at 3 MPH. Most of the hike is on pavement. Bring water. and snacks.. Questions contact Al D. email asilviod888@yahoo.com., cell day of hike only 640 208-0872.
