Searching for Lost Elephant

We will be walking on flat rocky terrain, wide open, majority of trail shaded.

I’ve hiked this trail multiple times and have yet to locate the elusive elephant. Maybe today!!

The trail is 5 miles out and back (10 miles total), at a 2-3 mph pace.

You must be able to keep this pace and stay behind leader and in front of sweep. This is for your safety .

There is facilities at beginning and end of trail.

Must be OCSJ member to attend.

It’s getting warmer out, remember sunscreen and bug spray.

Bring plenty of water, lunch and snacks.

Arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in and havee safety talk.

Please cancel early to allow waitlistters to attend.
If I need to cancel, will do so by 7 am morning of hike.
