Celebrating Faye Bray's Birthday at Jakes Branch --8 Miles.

If you are new to my hikes you need to message or email me before you can register. Priority on my hikes will be given to those who attend the hikes or who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours ahead of time.
We are dedicating this hike to our long time Hike Leader,Fray Bray, in celebration of her birthday. Years ago I went on a hike at Jakes Branch with Fray as the Hike Leader. On this hike through her encouragement and leadership, I decided to become a Hike Leader with the Outdoors Club. Through the years Faye has always been very complimentary always providing positive feedback. Thank You Faye for all your hikes and your dedication to the Outdoors Club. I feel honored to dedicate this hike to you.
On this hike we will complete 4 loops, yellow,blue,white and green. The hike is approximately 8 miles and we will try to maintain 3mph pace. Bring water, and snacks.
After the hike is over we have lunch at the picnic tables. After lunch for those hikers interested, we hike another 1.5 miles. There is a porta-potty in the parking lot and restrooms at the Visitors Center.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for sign-in, restrooms, adjust boots, safety talk, etc. I leave on time.
