If you are new to my hikes you have to email or message me before you can register.Priority will be given to those that regularly attend or who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours in advance.
I was reading about the South Jersey Trails 10 year Anniversary recommendations for the Top 25 Hiking Trails in South Jersey.The portion of the Batona Trail from Russ Anderson Road to Route 72 was ranked 5th.
I decided to lead an out and back hike starting at Russ Anderson Road Parking Lot, hiking 6 miles out, having a lunch break, and reversing directions returning to cars..Please remember to check comments section before leaving house.If hike is cancelled it will be posted by 6AM. Heavy snow or rain cancels the hike.
Bring lunch,snacks, lunch, something to sit on. We will hike at fast pace ( 3 -- mph) for 12 miles.
