Inner Six Peaks Trail

This is the difficult hike for the trip.

moderate to brisk pace depending on terrain

This is one of my favorite hikes with a wide variety of terrain and scenic views. We will meet at Steinwachs Trailhead parking lot off Reed Rd. in Alton, NH. We hike up the road to the trailhead and then up to the start of the loop about 1.5-2 miles with about 500' elevation gained. We then take a loop that goes up and down over 8 peaks. None especially high (1900' is the highest) but very steep ascents and descents. There is an early out halfway through if you feel that you need to take it. We'll pick a lunch spot as we go. I don’t believe there are porta-potys at the parking area. Bring water, food, poles, and rain gear.
