Trails to ALES! at Bass River State Park

Bass River State Forest is New Jersey’s first state forest, established in 1905 for public recreation, water conservation, wildlife and timber management. We will hike 7-8 Miles of mostly flat and wooded trails including Joes Trail in the heart of the Pinelands. At the end of the hike you have the option to join Dave and I at Pinelands Brewing, 140 South 7th Ave, Little Egg Harbor/Tuckerton and enjoy some good locally brewed beer. Visit to brewery IS NOT an OCSJ event. Please note when turning into park FOLLOW SIGNS TO LAKE ABSAGAMI DAY USE AREA. PLEASE plan to ARRIVE 10 -15 min early for sign in and gear adjustments etc, Rest rooms upon entrance.
