Cheesequake State Park

Not suitable for beginners.

Please arrive early so we can leave on time.

Let's meet at Hook's Lake (large parking lot); not the main trailhead. We'll hike about 5 miles at a moderate pace. Trails are rolling hills with sand, dirt, tree roots, stairs and boardwalks. Expect some muddy spots. Bring water. Hiking boots required. Please no pets or children.

Restrooms: at the main park entrance there is a real restroom on the side of the visitor's center. At Hook's lake there is usually a port-a-potty available. No entrance fee at this time of year.
