This will be a fun one where we'll try and hit as many point of interest as we can. I don't have an exact route in mind so I'll estimate 10-12 miles and 800-1000' of elevation at a moderate to brisk pace depending on terrain. It will be a loop along the Wissahickon Creek.

We'll start at Bells Mill Road parking where there should be a porta-potty. From there we do a short 1-2 miles loop to see the Great Beech Tree. Then we come back down to the yellow trail and take that to Thomas Mill Covered Bridge to cross the creek. There we pick up the orange trail and take that along the river past the Magarage Dam to the Valley Green Inn where we will have lunch.

After lunch we'll take the yellow trail again to Gorgas Cave. We'll cross the creek again and take the white trail back to the parking crossing the Fingerspan Bridge and passing Glen Fern, the Devil's Pool, and Teedyuscung's Statue.

This is a rocky hike so sturdy boots are recommended. Bring water, food, rain gear, and poles if you want. If you need to contact me my cell is 609-471-4119.
