This one of my favorite Hikes. Historical Cattus Island provides a unique habitat of salt marshes & woodland. We will hike approximately 6+ miles covering ALL of the trails in the Park enjoying winter in the salt marsh. Also there are several bail out points to make hike shorter if needed. Ideal beginners hike. The diverse natural setting is enjoyed by everyone. Located off Fischer Blvd in Toms River. Porta Jon in parking lot. Rest rooms in Environmental Center open at 10am.
