Cohanzick Zoo and Bridgeton City Park
Details
The Cohanzick Zoo is New Jersey's first zoo and is one of the only municipal zoos in the state. This is a 6.5 mile moderate pace hike through Bridgeton city park and the streets of the city and the historical buildings along the way. After the city the raceway will take us to Sunset Lake and Mary Elmer Lake. The bridge over the raceway is still closed, we will take the long way around for lunch on the lake. This is a 6 mile loop around the area, plus a .5 mile walk around the Zoo.
Bathrooms are at the start inside the zoo.
Please arrive 15 minuets early to sign in and use the bathrooms.
