For this hike, we will head out from Owens Park in Williamstown (right next to the Williamstown HS). We will walk around the park trails a bit, then head over to the Monroe trail. This trail accommodates runners, walkers, and bike riders. There will be 1 major road crossing at Tuckahoe Road. Depending on conditions, I may go off on some side paths occasionally. The total distance will be around 6 to 7 miles, maybe longer if we feel up to exploring further. The pace will be a moderate pace at 19-21 minutes per mile or 3-3.25.

This path is always plowed of snow. We will have no problems.

This is a brisk, fast, quick hike. If you can do 3 miles in 1 hour with no stopping, you will be fine. No scheduled breaks.

Another heads up. If you sign up and no show, as has been happening a lot on hikes, then my hikes probably arent for you.

Only paid members of OCSJ are allowed on hikes.

No pets are allowed.

Thankfully, there are bathrooms port a potties at the beginning.

Arrive at 845am. Plan to start on time at 9 am. There is plenty of parking in the lots. I will be beside a black Honda Pilot. I have a long blonde braid.

Will cancel by 7am for inclement weather.
