Spring in the Salt Marsh at Cattus Island

Historical Cattus Island provides a unique habitat of salt marshes & woodland. We will hike approximately 6-7 miles at a moderate to brisk pace ( depending on weather & trail conditions) of easy trails enjoying the beginning of Spring in the salt marsh. Also there are several bail out points to make hike shorter if needed. Ideal beginners hike. Additional option to take quick tour of the environmental center. Porta John only at parking lot. Located off Fischer Blvd in Toms River. There is a WAWA located approximately ½ mile past the park entrance. PLEASE arrive 15 minutes before start time, Than you!
