To the BEACH! Sandy Hook

Sandy Hook is part of Gateway National Park System. The hiking/biking trails offer a change from the Pinelands & State forests. The plan is to follow the Trails from the parking area to the Fort Hancock & the Oldest operating light house area and back. Expect to walk 7-10 miles over the park at a moderate to brisk pace. Trails are mostly paved. We get to enjoy fresh ocean air, take in some history and enjoy a good workout! We will meet at SANDY HOOK BEACH B PARKING close to the pavilion. Restrooms are closed.
