In Search of Bloodroot

Look for the most beautiful of early spring ephemerals and other flowers at Burlington County Crystal Lake Park in Mansfield Township. We will do about 4 miles at a moderate pace on the surprisingly steep ravines, so wear good hiking shoes or boots and bring sticks. Weather is predicted to be dry, so that will help. Bring water and a snack. Take insect precautions. Bathrooms at start and finish. We will meet at the Axe Factory Road parking lot, not on Route 130. Please note that this is not the Crystal Lake Park in Camden County.
