May the Fourth Be With You on the Barnegat Trail
Details
This is a straight out and back 6 mile hike along the Barnegat Trail.
We will walk/hike at a moderate pace (~3 mph) along the Barnegat Trail from Waretown heading south toward Barnegat. Trail is flat and even, used for walking and bike riding.
We will stop for a coffee or beverage at GNM Coffee shop before reversing the route and heading back to Waretown.
Dress for the weather and bring water and a snack. Rain or unsafe weather conditions cancels.
**Meet at trail side parking lot at country Road Trailhead. Country Road is off of route 9, just south of the Lighthouse tavern. Look for blue Subaru Crosstrek.
