Spring in the Salt Marsh at Cattus Island

Historical Cattus Island is a unique habitat of salt marshes & woodland. We will hike approximately 6-7 miles ( depending on weather & trail conditions) of easy trails enjoying Pre summer in the salt marsh. Also there are several bail out points to make hike shorter if needed. Ideal beginners hike. Indoor facilities open after 10am. Located off Fischer Blvd in Toms River. There is a WAWA located approximately ½ mile before the park entrance. We will meet in the parking area closest to the environmental center and Porta Jon. Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes early.
