AT Clark Creek to Swatara Gap Backpacking Trip

This is a 16 mile section of the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania. Day 01 starts at Clarks Valley. In the first two miles we will be climbing 1000 feet in elevation. Along the way we will pass the remains of some old historic mining villages. After hiking 11 miles we reach the Rausch Gap Shelter which sleeps twelve and has a privy.
Day 02 we will hike 4.5 miles ending at Swatara Gap.

Trip is limited to 9 participants.

The hiking pace will be a moderate 2.5 mph.
