Cape May Bike Path from Sea Pines to Cold Springs & back - "D" Pace

A little less than 30 miles round trip. This will be a fun and easy ride from our campground right outside of Avalon on route 9 to Cold Springs Village in Cape May and back via the Middle Township/Cold Springs Bike Paths. All flat paved bike path. Some roads. This will be a leisurely ride. No breakaways. Nobody left behind. The bike path will take us past the Avalon Golf course, and the Cape May Zoo to name a few highlights. Pack a lunch, bring plenty of water. Helmets required. Spare tube just in case. Sorry, no electronic waivers, sign in when you arrive.
Here's the game plan:
We'll meet at the parking lot of Sea Pines Campground (see directions for the location) located off route 9 just outside of Avalon. Lennie & I will be camping there all weekend. The parking lot is on the left as you come in the campground and before the guard/gate. From there we'll sign in and gear up. We'll head through the campground and out the back right on to the bike path and head to Cold Springs (Bathrooms available before we start). Once at Cold Springs, we'll take a break, eat some lunch etc. Then head back. Once back at the campground, everyone is welcome back to our campsite where we'll get a fire going and hang out some and grill some hotdogs. Of course this is NOT part of the club activity. We'll provide the hot dogs & rolls, feel free to bring something to share (not required) and your own beverage. Some games will be set up to play. No rain date on this.
