Gravel Bike Scouting Ride - Mountain Bikes Also

Details

We will be starting out of Pakim Pond in Brendan Byrne State Forest.

This is a scouting ride to find at least 20 miles of good unpaved roads and trails suitable for a gravel bike, but mountain bikes are welcome as well.

There are a number of hard packed (no sugar sand) back roads there.

The objective is to make a loop or a figure eight route that travels on mostly, if not all, unpaved roads.

I will keep the pace no faster than 8 MPH as we scout with frequent stops.

With the warm temperatures, this will be a rain or shine event.

After, we can wash down the dust with something at Billy Boy's.
