OCSJ Club Picnic D Ride, From Pakim Pond to Fugawy and Back

Details
Pat and I will lead a D paced ride from Pakim Pond for the Club Picnic. Note: See Brendan T. Byrne State Forest Website.
Please Note: this is for the pre-picnic ride only. If you are planning on attending the picnic you must register for the picnic on the hiking site.
We have two potential routes.
The preferred route will start from Pakim Pond on the Cranberry Trail (Red), which is a gravel, mini-singletrack trail for 3.3 miles to Ranger Station for a pit stop [this is an ADA Trail, and I qualify :) ].
We will then backtrack on Cranberry and take a left onto the Lebanon Trail (Orange) counterclockwise to Pakim Pond approximately 12 miles total. A mini side trip walk to see the Cranberry bogs is possible [I'll guard the bikes]
The vast majority of the Orange trail is a gravel in asphalt surface although the first section from Cranberry Trail is hard packed sand.
Hybrid or mountain bike tires are best for this route.
On the chance that Cranberry Trail is overgrown, or the sand becomes softer on Lebanon Trail, we will change to an on-road route including about 3 miles on route 72 for about 17 miles. Yeah, it's a wide shoulder on 72, but I really prefer the mini singletrack ride through the woods.
FYI, I ride a Trike, Pat rides a hybrid. Look for a brightly colored flag on my trike.
Since Hike Leaders may also use the Cranberry Trail we need to start before them, ideally 8:45 :(
