Come discover our local marine preserves!
We are so happy to have one of our members, Thamar Draper, present this fun and informative topic at our General Meeting on Monday, Nov. 9th at 4pm at the French Valley Library!

The presentation explores marine protection in California and the Baja California peninsula, showing how protected habitats, effective enforcement and responsible human choices can help ocean life recover, including firsthand observations.
Thamar has been a SCUBA diver for 30 years, and enjoys traveling to and on our oceans photographing the incredible and fragile underwater world.

Don't miss this! Arrive at 4pm for about 15 minutes of social time. We'll have a bit of Group business and then dive into the presentation. We must leave at 6pm. I've been told that our group needs to keep their social time inside the community room so we don't disturb the other patrons.
