Adventurous hike from Esneux to Comblain-la-Tour (20 Km)

Hello hikers,
Join us for another day hike along the beautiful Ourthe valley. We'll climb high for amazing views and navigate rugged trails together as a supportive community.

Meeting Points:
Option 1: Train from Brussels

• At 8:45 am. Meet us at Brussels Central Station in front of Starbucks We will take the train of 09:01 AM to Eupen. In Liège, we will switch and take the train of 10:07 to Troisvierges. We should arrive at Esneux, our destination at 10:22 AM.

Expect the hike to be done by +/- 05:10 pm. We will head to a local bar, provided we have enough time.
There is a train back to Brussels at 6:13 pm (and every two hours that follows). Should we go faster than expected, it is possible we might catch the train of 4:13 pm

Return to Brussels:
Train in Comblain-la-Tour station at 06:13 to Liers.
We step off in Liège-Guillemins.

In Liège we take the train of 07:00 pm direction Oostende.
We will back to Brussels central station at 07:55 pm.

### Hike Details:

• The hike will take us to some spectacular views along the Ourthe valley
• Expect to cover almost 600 meters of elevation
• The pace will be moderate to high, with some rugged terrain and scrambling, so be sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes (sneakers are not recommended).
• We will stop along the trail for a picnic, so don’t forget to bring lunch.

### What to Bring:

• Lunch (for a picnic along the trail)
• Water to stay hydrated
• Rainproof clothing – No such thing as bad weather, only bad gear! ;)
• Sturdy walking shoes – necessary for the rugged terrain

Important Disclaimer:
This hike is suitable for individuals who are in good physical condition. The trail includes some rugged terrain and steep sections, and we will be covering almost 600 meters of elevation.
