Poop Out Trail (4.8 miles, 1489’ gain)

Let's do the Poop Out Trail!
This is a fun trail, requiring some scrambling in the beginning and end. After the initial steep 100', the rest of the trail has steady elevation. We'll go past the Poop Out sign and continue for another 1.5 miles to the Punk Out "peak" before heading back. Great views on a clear day.

Note: There are some uneven and steep stretches of trail that require scrambling at the beginning and end.

Meeting spot:
Meet at corner of Big Dalton Canyon Rd. and Glendora Mountain Rd. We'll do the hike clockwise.

1090 Glendora Mountain Rd, Glendora, CA 91741 (address for Fire Station, located across the street from trailhead)

Directions:
From the 210, exit S. Lone Hill Ave. heading north. Turn left on E. Foothill Blvd. Turn right on N. Valley Center Ave. to Glendora Mountain Rd., slight left to Sierra Madre, and immediate right to Glendora Mountain Rd. Look for Dalton Camp Fire Station (left side) and Big Dalton Canyon Road (right side). Trailhead is at the corner of Big Dalton Canyon Rd. and Glendora Mountain Rd.

Parking:
Free street parking on Glendora Mountain Rd. on left hand side (about 100 feet north of the fire station and Big Dalton Canyon Rd.) Look out for the signs. Usually, parking on Big Dalton Canyon Rd. is full.

There are no restrooms. Dogs are not recommended.

Sunscreen
Snacks
Shoes with good traction (for steep sections)
Light jacket

If you are a no-show more than 2 times without at least letting the organizer(s) know, you may be suspended or removed from the group.
