A walk around the Rose Bowl recreation loop plus optional picnic after

🌹 🥣 Join me for an easy 3 mile walk around the Rose Bowl recreation loop. After that, let’s have a picnic on the grounds. Staying for the picnic is optional.

The loop is about 3 miles around and is paved and totally flat. All fitness levels are welcome.

Location: 1001 Rose Bowl Dr
Pasadena, CA 91103. Lot I

Time: 9:00-11:30 Sharp! We need to beat the heat as there is no shade around the loop. 5 min. Grace period. Message if youre late.

Meet up location: Lot I in front of the kidspace children’s museum. Again, park in LOT I!! There are many lots and we won’t find you if you park elsewhere. There is an abundance of free parking in lot I. Look for the Kidspace Children’s Museum right in lot I. It’s very easy to find.

What to bring? Sunscreen, a hat, water and regular sneakers. Being a treat or two if you’re staying for the picnic, a towel for the ground and an inclusive and fun attitude. We want everyone to stay together, chat and be respectful of people physical and social comfortabilty. I highly encourage new members to join as this is the kind of small event that gets us moving but is more engaging because we’re walking. Let’s meet some new friends and connect with old ones!

If you’re staying for the picnic, feel free to bring a snack. Something like a bag of chips or cut fruit to share. I have a large Yeti cooler to keep things fresh. I’ll bring paper plates and plastic forks.
