What we’re about

Outdoor Meal & Social Club: A Community for Open-Air Living
Friluftsliv, a Nordic tradition meaning "open-air living," celebrates the simple joy of being outside. Our Outdoor Meal & Social Club is a casual gathering for those who love the outdoors and want to connect with others in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. The goal is to meet outside once a month, share a meal, and embrace the changing seasons together.
To keep this community active and engaged, membership will be limited to those who genuinely want to participate. If you join, please do so with the intent of being involved. While not mandatory, members are encouraged to suggest or host at least one event per year if possible. If you have ideas for activities, you can share them with the organizer or become an event organizer if you'd like to contribute regularly.
Since event organizers put time and effort into planning, we ask that members RSVP responsibly. If you commit to an event, please make every effort to attend, or cancel your RSVP in advance if you can no longer make it. This helps organizers and venues plan accordingly and is respectful to others who may be on a waiting list. We understand that life happens, and last-minute changes are sometimes unavoidable—just be mindful of the impact on the group. A $5-10 payment is requested at the first event you participate in so that we can keep this group going! (Thank you)
Come as you are, bring a meal to share, and enjoy the outdoors with us!
