Hike @ Beaudry

Details
Meet at 2 PM, but leave at 2:15 PM.
This nearly 6-mile hike RT begins in a residential Glendale neighborhood and meanders across the easternmost side of the Verdugo Mountains. An elevation gain of 1,500 feet combines a good workout with striking panoramic views of Los Angeles, Glendale, and the San Gabriel Mountains to the north. Hike is a little over 2 hours. Residents of Glendale, La Crescenta, and La Cañada–Flintridge use this picturesque trail on a regular basis, but any hiker will find it worth the drive. It is completely exposed and best hiked on a cool, overcast day. On clear days, expect excellent views of downtown Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, and the San Gabriel Mountains.
This is a difficult hike--not for beginners. Bring water and sneakers with good traction. Dogs ok on leash. We might be coming back in the dark.
Hike is still on, UNLESS it starts poring--unlikely as of now. It is 12:23 PM right now
I'll be watching the skies tomorrow as there is a 50% chance of rain. Basically if it has already started raining before the hike starts the hike is cancelled. Rain cancels hike.
