San Gabriel National Monument, Whats Next ?

President Obama took historic action on October 10, 2014 when he created the San Gabriel National Monument.

Now that we have a National Monument, what are the next steps ? How will it be funded and managed ?
What changes will it bring ? Will the mountain areas omitted from the National Monument eventually be included ?

Join us on March 25 to hear our expert panel address these questions and more. The panel discussion will be moderated by reporter Steve Scauzillo from the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. Invited panelists include Daniel Lovato, Acting Supervisor of the Angeles National Forest, Belinda Faustinos , Vice Chair of the San Gabriel Mountains Forever , Tim Brick, Managing Director of the Arroyo Seco Foundation and Edward Belden, Southern California program Associate, National Foundation.
