Lower Arroyo Seco Park Trail

Meet 2 PM in front at the stables. Leave at 2:15 PM. This is a 4.5 miles round trip walk. It will be approx 2 hours. This walk has some scenic areas such as rivers and lush green areas in the middle of Pasadena!

This historic Pasadena hike parallels the Arroyo Seco flood-control channel, then winds under a grand old bridge before reaching a natural stream and turning bucolic and shady. It ends near Brookside Park, home to an aquatics center, a kids’ museum, and the Rose Bowl stadium. Its loose dirt path and flat surface make it a popular spot for early-evening joggers and dog walkers from the surrounding Pasadena neighborhoods.

Please don't park in the stables parking lot! There is plenty of parking outside.

This is an easy flat walk. Beginners welcome. Walk will be under 2 hours.

For those, who want more of an exercise, they can leave our group and walk around the Rose Bowl. This is a popular place for people to exercise.
