Spring Biking around the Lakes followed by socializing at Painted Turtle

Details
On most Wednesdays in the spring & summer we'll have a bike ride altering between locations.
The pace will depend upon the participants, but generally will be about 12 mph. We will not leave anyone behind so if we need to, we will pause to let others catch up.
After the hike, we'll meet the hiking group at Painted Turtle (right on Lake Nokomis) for more fun and socializing.
Items to note for biking:
1. While we will be on the bike trails, we will need to watch out for walkers & cars. If we come across walkers, announce yourself by saying "on the right" or "on the left" so they are aware you are approaching them from behind,
2. Bring water as needed
3. Wear a helmet as desired. As we are all adults, it is an individual choice to wear a helmet, or not.
We'll meet in the parking lot of the Lake Nokomis Community Center and bike for around 15+ miles. Please keep your RSVP up to date. No shows may be removed from future rides if the event is full.
By signing up for the ride, you are assuming all risk. The event host, the groups leaders & organizers do not accept liability for any injury. Please take all valuables with you on the ride as a precaution. While the group has not had issues at this location, let's not tempt any thieves :)
See you on the ride
