Hike plus Music in the Park

Come enjoy some free, live music by the river! Each Thursday in the summer, the City of Hastings offers free music at the pavilion downtown by the river. This weeks music is by Holy tocka Rollaz - Tribute to the 50’s So put your dancing shoes on and come join us!

We'll meet at 5 and set up our chairs at the pavilion then take off for a 4 mile hike through different paths along the river or in the city. We will be back by 6:15 for the music at 6:30. The pace for the hike will be approximately 16:00/mile. If you are unable to make the hike, but still want to attend the event for the music, please comment in the event so we know to look for you.

Also by the event is a Maker's Market & food trucks if you are interested. You can bring your own food and beverages if you want. If anyone is interested, we can walk a block to Spiral Brewery after the music to continue socializing.

What to know/bring:
1. Tennis shoes are fine for the hike/walk. It is all paved trails. No sandals.
2. Bring water for the hike as desired, or beverages for the music.
3. Bring sunscreen as desired.
4. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
