Hike at Crosby Farm followed by Wandering Leaf Brewing

We'll start at Crosby Farm entrance in St. Paul and hike back through the woods. There will be an opportunity for those individuals that want/need to leave after approximately 5 miles and for those that want to go further, there is an option to continue wandering through the woods for another 1 - 1.5 miles.

We'll meet at the Crosby Farm entrance with plenty of parking

Hike Details:

• Pace will be about 16 - 16:30 minute miles. If you don't know how fast that is, assume fast. The hike is meant to be a work out. The snow will also add challenges.
• Dress in layers. While it may seem cool at the beginning, you will warm up and layers help to keep yourself at a comfortable temp.
• Decent footwear. While this hike has a lot of paved trails, there is still terrain and decent footwear makes the hike easier.
• Traction devices for your shoes are highly recommended. Good brands are Kahtoola (micro spikes & exo-spikes), Stabilicers. Devices that fully cover your toes do not slip off your shoes easily ensuring that you don't lose a gripper along the route.
• Please do not leave valuables in the car. Crime happens everywhere and do not tempt anyone with valuables.

After the hike we can go to Wandering Leaf Brewing located at 2463 7th St W, St. Paul, MN, 55116. Dogs are welcome in the brewery but must be kept on a leash.

Please keep your RSVP up to date. It is challenging for the leader if you are on the list to go and then do not attend without updating your RSVP. We do not want to start without people if they are caught in traffic, but we do not want to wait for someone who will not show up!

Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash & the owner is responsible for picking up after your pet.

By signing up for the hike, you agree you can keep the pace. You also agree to accept personal responsibility for any accidents that may happen. Tree roots & rocks sometimes appear and trip us - even in the snow. You agree to hold the event hosts and organizers harmless.
