Vadnais Lake to Sucker Lake followed by Big Wood Brewery
Details
The Sucker Lake loop is a shady trail with beautiful trees that is half asphalt and half a natural surface dirt path. The Vadnais Lake trail is a beautiful trail with lots of side trails to explore. It's wide and partially paved.
We'll start and end at Big Wood Brewery. We'll cross the street to hit the Vadnais Lake trail then do the loop around Sucker Lake and back on the Vadnais Lake trail to our cars/the brewery. Afterwards, we can enjoy a social gathering at the brewery.

- A headlamp will be necessary for at least half of the hike
- A dry shirt is helpful to prevent chills after the hike
- Please do not leave valuables in the car. Crime happens everywhere. Do not tempt anyone with valuables.
Please keep your RSVP up to date. It is challenging for the leaders if you are on the list to go and then do not attend without updating your RSVP. We do not want to start without people if they are caught in traffic, but we do not want to wait for someone who will not show up! RSVP's may be limited for future events for no-shows. Priority will be places on those individuals that honor their RSVP. If you want to attend and it is after the sign up closes and there are spots available, please feel free to just attend and meet us at the gathering location.
By signing up for the hike, you agree you can keep the pace. Options to check out your pace is a free app for your smart phone (or smart watch). The leaders use Map My Run for distance & pace. You also agree to accept personal responsibility for any accidents that may happen. Tree roots & rocks sometimes appear and trip us - even with snow. You agree to hold the event hosts and organizers harmless.
See you on the trail!
