Casual Walk around Lake Harriet

Beat the heat! ☀️ Enjoy a casual walk around Lake Harriet.

Route begins & ends next to the large white dome within MLK Park at 40th Street and 35W.

Pace: No major inclines, 5 miles, pace approximately 23 minute miles.

• Dogs are welcome. Please bring enough bags to pick up after your pet.
  *As with any location, please do not leave valuables in the car.

Things to consider:

1. Breathable walking shoes
2. Dress in breathable layers.
3. Use sunscreen, hat, glasses.
4. Bring water as needed. Also available inside the park building.
5. Bring a dry shirt for afterwards if you are not driving straight home. As you cool down after the event, it is easy to get chilled and a dry shirt will help that.

Parking: There is a free lot by the large white dome on 40th Street and Stevens Avenue.
