Casual Bike the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway - Lakes to Theo Wirth

Enjoy a casual bike ride along a portion of the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway. *Please keep your RSVP updated within an hour prior to event.
Pace: 10 minute miles. Entire route is a paved trail. Each landmark below is a dedicated check point with a caboose to ensure no one falls behind.
Route begins & ends at the Lake Harriet Bandshell.
Route detail: Inclines are minimal.
Trip is 10 miles out + 10 miles back = 20 miles total.

- Bde Maka Ska to
- Cedar Lake to
- Theodore Wirth to
- Victory Memorial Pkwy
- Return trip = reverse order.
*Water and bathrooms available at parks. If you don't have a bike lock, we can take turns watching out for each other.

*As with any location, please do not leave valuables in the car.
Things to consider:
- Bring water.
- Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, helmet.
- Dress in breathable layers.
- Bring a dry shirt for afterwards if you are not driving straight home.
Parking: Street parking is limited. You may consider an annual parking pass. Hourly parking is also available.
