Rock Island Camp, Lost Cave Hike and Burgess Falls Kayak

Camp at Rock Island State Park, Hike Lost Creek and Cave and Kayak Burgess Falls. Come for part or all! Bring all of your own gear, supplies, food, snacks and drinks. Each day pack lunch for the hike and kayak adventure.

Friday June 7th, 2024 we will setup camp at the Rock Island Tent campground sites 55 and 56.

Saturday June 8th, 2024 we will hike Lost Creek Falls & Cave. Kyle Dixon an experienced guide for this trial will be leading the hike. This is a spectacular hike with a beautiful waterfall and a hidden cave with a hidden waterfall. The hike is moderate hike not too strenuous. The optional hike into the cave is strenuous with a bolder trail and serious obstacles. The underground waterfall is amazing and worth the hike!

Sunday June 9 we will kayak Burgess Falls! You can rent from the outfitter or BYOB. This is a breathtaking easy 2 mile in and 2 mile out kayak run. Once we make it to the falls, we park and tie off our kayaks and play in the pool of the falls. This falls will take your breath away!

Rock Island tent camp ground camp out Friday and Saturday night. Two tent sites are reserved so about 8 tents total can be on the sites. If your an rv camper make a reservation for the rv campground at Rock Island and join us for a pot luck cookout at the tent campground.

Bring your own tent, supplies, food, and folding chair.
