Spring River Float and Campout Weekend

Lets meet up on the river for a few days of outdoors adventure! On the Spring River in north east Arkansas, just minutes from Hardy and Mammoth Springs. Its an easy 3 hour drive from Memphis. Lotta details below, so please read and ask questions in discussion below.

If you just want to do the float and do an up and back same day welcome! If you leave Memphis at 7 Saturday you would be comfortably on the water by 11AM and be done by 4PM for the drive home,

Base of Activities will be Riverside Resort. They have camping, cabins, kayak/canoe rentals and shuttle. It right on the river.

Friday - travel up and secure lodging or campsite, meetup at Riverside to get specifics on Saturdays float plan. Our **base will be at Riverside Resort (**even if you end up staying somewhere else.) They have tent camping, RV sites, and cabins, and also rent kayaks/canoes and offer shuttle service.

There are also plenty of hotels/motels/cabins and air B'n'B options in the Mammoth Spring/Hardy area.

Saturday 11:00AM: Float the Spring River 5 miles. We'll put in upstream at Dam 3 access, and float back to Riverside Resort. Depending on water levels, normally takes 3-4 hours. Its an easy float, water is crystal clear (and cold), great scenery.

Saturday night: we will group up either at the Riverside campsites for cookout/campfire, or maybe a restaurant in Hardy/Mammoth Spring for a social evening. Lets discuss below on what the group wants to do.

Sunday morning 9-10 AM: Optional could do same float as Saturday. That would wrap us up by 1PM for those who need to get back to Memphis earlier Sunday.
