Casual Bike Ride Downtown

The Memphis Social Bicycle Club is hosting a critical mass ride meeting at 2pm on E Butler Street in front of Wiseacre Downtown and rolling out around 2:30ish. It should take about an hour to do the ride but be sure to stick around for the after party.

Don't have a bike no worries get downtown early and rent a bike at an Explore Bike Share station. Download the BCycle app, be sure to set up an account as that is required to buy a pass then find the closest station that had an available bike like the one at Main & Talbot by Slider Inn or the Central Station Hotel on Main near GE Patterson. They have a variety of passes, I've gotten the one that gives unlimited 60mins for 24hrs. Rides longer than 60 are $0.30/min for extra time. You can check the bike in/out again within 60mins to avoid the extra fees. Tips before unlocking a bike: be sure to check how much charge the ebike has (highly recommend 3-4 bars as 2 did not last me a full hour), be sure the tires are full and adjust the seat.
