May is Mental Health Awareness Month and movement is a great way to get into the spirit! Join Erica Saturday, May 10, at 12pm for a 60-minute functional strength workout at Brick AND support local mental health outreach efforts.

Are you new to fitness or trying to get back into a routine? Is life feeling a bit too busy for the gym lately? Maybe you want to work out at home or stay active while you're traveling...If this sounds like you, keep reading...

This workout is great for movers of all experiences, beginners to experienced fitness buffs. We'll explore functional strength movements using bodyweight or props like sandabgs, kettlebells, and light dumbbells. We'll discuss correct form for common exercises as well as modifications for intensity and inspo for do-anywhere workouts you can replicate with your own equipment.

Pricing is pay-what-you-can and all proceeds will benefit NAMI of Wake County! Registration is free, and donations will be collected at the door via Venmo, Paypal or cash. To guarantee your spot - please sign up on the host website.

NAMI Wake County is an organization of families, friends and individuals whose lives have been affected by mental illness. Together, we advocate for better lives for those individuals who have a mental illness.
