Outdoorly is the perfect Meetup group for people who looking to get outdoors, meet new people and enjoy some great experiences along the way. This group is all about bringing people together through hikes, walks, day trips and fun activities in a relaxed and friendly setting.
We organise small group events so itās easy to connect, chat and actually get to know each other no big crowds or feeling lost in the mix. Whether youāre up for a scenic hike, a gentle walk, or exploring somewhere new for the day, thereās something here for everyone.
This group is open to anyone aged 18+ and you donāt need to be super experienced just bring a positive attitude and a willingness to join in. All fitness levels are welcome. Come solo or with a friend and be part of a welcoming community that enjoys good company and the outdoors.

We begin our walk beside the Great Stour River and its surrounding lakes, then head through the church and village green at Chartham. From there, the route continues across classic Kentish landscapes of hop fields and apple orchards towards Chartham Hatch.
Leaving the village, we walk on through Church Wood and the ancient Blean Woods Nature Reserve before reaching the parklands of the University of Kent, where we are rewarded with superb views across the city to Canterbury Cathedral.
We then descend into Canterbury itself, following the River Stour through the historic Norman Westgate and along medieval streets and winding alleys. Our arrival into the cathedral precinct is via the ornate Christ Church Gate, leading us into the heart of Canterbury Cathedral.
There will be time to explore and enjoy this remarkable city before we make our return journey to London by train.

This iconic cliff-top hike widely regarded as one of Englandās most spectacular coastal walks offers breath taking and widely celebrated views of the Seven Sisters' white cliffs, offering breath taking views of the English Channel, and the famous Beachy Head, culminating in the graceful seafront town of Eastbourne. The walk involves a fair amount of ascent and descent, aside from the relatively level stretches near Cuckmere Haven and the final approach along Eastbourneās promenade, the path is rarely flat. Yet, the majestic scenery makes the effort feel almost effortless.šHighlights: Iconic Landmarks
- Martello Tower (Seaford) - The westernmost of 103 Napoleonic-era coastal fortresses.
- Spectacular White Cliffs - Formed by Ice Age glacier meltwater and sea erosion

This rewarding circular hike along the beautiful Greensand Ridge, just south of the North Downs. This route offers a perfect mix of woodland, open valley, and sweeping viewpoints. Along the way, weāll enjoy striking contrasts between the lush Darent Valley, panoramic views across to the North Downs.We begin across Limpsfield Common, a peaceful National Trust landscape, before heading through the charming Darent Valley and climbing onto the wooded heights of Crockhamhill Common. From there, we loop toward Chartwell, the historic family home of Winston Churchill, where weāll catch glimpses of the house and its surrounding countryside.
The route continues through Hosey Common, a diverse 64-hectare woodland of broadleaved trees, and onward to High Chart and parts of the Titsey Estate and Squerryes Park. We then cross back over our outward path at Limpsfield Chart and return via more scenic sections of Limpsfield Common.
Our walk finishes in the picturesque village of Limpsfield, known for its well-preserved historic buildings, before heading back to Oxted.šHighlights:

Starting from the historic market town of MoretonāināMarsh, this classic Cotswold circular walk offers a relaxed and rewarding introduction to the areaās gently rolling countryside and picture perfect villages. The route heads north in a peaceful antiāclockwise loop through the Cotswold foothills, visiting a string of honeyācoloured gems including Paxford, Chipping Campden, Broad Campden and Blockley.
After crossing quiet fields, the morning walk climbs steadily to reveal lovely open views before descending into Broad Campden. We also pass through Chipping Campden, renowned as the traditional gateway to the Cotswolds and the official start of the Cotswold Way. This vibrant market town is rich in Arts & Crafts heritage, with elegant stone buildings, historic halls and a lively village atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding countryside.
Later, Weāll arrive in Blockley, a village rich in history and charm. Once a centre for the silk industry, Blockley is nestled in a valley and feels slightly more hidden, with its beautiful church, old mill buildings, and a network of quiet lanes..
The walk links several renowned longādistance paths ā the Diamond Way, Heart of England Way and Monarchās Way ā adding a sense of journey and history to the day, before looping back peacefully to MoretonāināMarsh.
Walking sections of these historic routes adds a sense of connection to Englandās rich walking heritage.Highlights
