EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Our Annual Central Park Great Pumpkin Hunt is back and a great way to celebrate the Fall season, meet new people or hang out with familiar friends. If you don’t have a team, we will set you up on one for a great day of exploring and learning in Central Park. Following the hunt, you can join members of the hunt for a bite to eat at a local pub or restaurant.
ADULTS ONLY EVENT
How the Central Park Great Pumpkin Scavenger & History Hunt works:

• Come alone or with friends and meet at Tavern on the Green at 11:00 am. We will set up the teams (teams of up to 5 only). If you have a team let us know.
• Each team will have 2 hours to find as many clues as they can inside a small section of the park between 67th and 85th street on the west side. Clues will be found on historical markers, wildlife, street performers, tourists, fountains, statues, bridges, and hidden secrets.
• There will also be over 100 mini pumpkins hidden along the way in bushes, behind benches, under statues, and in the Ramble. Each pumpkin will be worth extra points for the teams that find them.
• At the end of the 2 hours, the group will meet near the endpoint (85th Street/Central Park West) to see which group has uncovered the most clues to win prizes! From there we will head to a local pub for food and drinks.

Dress code: Dress for the weather (rain or shine).
Is this going to be hard or do I need experience? No, this is a fun hunt & fall activity designed to make the clues easy to find.
What if it rains? We will send updates before the event but be prepared for rain.
Can I come alone? Yes, most guests do! It’s a great way to meet new people.

This event is nonrefundable. If you have tested positive for Covid and cannot attend, we will do our best to provide you with credits to select future events with a copy of your positive test results. Please note that due to the cost involved in some activities credits may not be used for the event you missed.
