Richmond Park photography workshop. Manual/Semi-Manual modes, Depth of field

Hi everyone and a very happy new year. Here's our first 2019 event ideal for beginners and intermediate photographers. it's is an opportunity to walk around in the Richmond park and learn how to take sharp photos of nature, animals and each other using manual, aperture and shutter speed priority. The aim of the workshop is to get a better understanding on how each mode works. We will also discuss and demonstrate "depth of field" and demonstrate how to achieve a shallow or deep depth of field. I will be bringing a print out which summarises these modes in a simple non-technical way.

We'll meet at 12:00PM outside Collici Cafe (Colicci, 138 Priory Ln, London SW15 5JP) next to the Rohampton gate car park and Park Cycle bike hire.
Photographers of all levels are very welcome.

What you need to bring with you:
A DSLR or Mirrorless Camera with a Zoom or telephoto lens. Your kit lens is fine but a zoom or telephoto with 200mm or more reach would serve you really well.

How to get there:

By Car:
If you're driving, there are plenty of parking spaces. You can park your car free of charge within the Rohampton gate car park or opposite just outside the entrance of Rohampton gate.

The road opposite the gate is actually called Rohampton gate and according to Google the post code is SW15 5JS. When you park there, you need to walk into the park through Rohampton gate, turn left after the mini round about and walk about a minute and Colicci is on your left.
By Public Transport:

The closest railway station to the Rohampton gate is Barnes Railway Station (SW13 0HT). It's Local to London Waterloo (Next station Putney). The distance between the Barnes railway station and Collici cafe is 1.4 miles. That's and a 20 minute walk.
When you get out of the station you take the following walking route:
Barnes

Walk east on Station Rd
59 ft

Slight right
0.3 mi

Turn left onto Vine Rd
85 ft

Continue onto Priory Ln
Go through 2 roundabouts
0.9 mi

Turn left
0.1 mi

Turn left
Destination will be on the left
115 ft
Colicci
138 Priory Ln, London SW15 5JP
