Apex & Enchanted Forest Hike

Let's enjoy green grasses and wildflowers on Apex Trail and the cool shade of the Enchanted Forest! This moderately challenging lollypop loop at Apex Park is an escape from Denver and yet close by.

Distance: 5.5 mi
Elevation gain: 1,230 ft
Bring water, sunscreen and be prepared for a fair bit of uphill the first half of the hike. We will share part of the trail with mountain bikers. Dogs allowed on leash.
Meet at the Apex Trailhead parking lot (east side of Apex Park) at 9:00 am. Restrooms are available.
Weather: This hike is subject to be canceled and/or rescheduled due to weather conditions. The trail is also subject to change due to trail conditions.
NOTE: Due to the increase in Meetup fees (annual groups are now $300 to run), as of 4/1/24, our organizer, Nat, is requesting a $2 contribution from participants who can afford it (donation is not required to participate and no one will be turned away). Funds go toward the cost of hosting the group. Venmo is preferred.
