Mount Flora Trail is a beautiful trail with views throughout. In the beginning, the Mines Peak switchbacks are open and well-marked. The trail gets narrower and less defined once you get beyond the winter park and closer to the Mt. Flora summit.

Difficulty: moderately challenging, please only sign up if you are in good physical shape and can hike up elevation.
Dogs: allowed, leashed
Parking: There is easy access to this hike directly from Highway 40, where you can park in the Berthoud Pass parking lot. There is a restroom here at the trailhead as well.
WEATHER: This hike is known for being extremely windy, so make sure to dress accordingly. Wear windproof clothing and sturdy shoes.
