Volunteer: The Courage Garden, Garden Beautification Support
Details
Come volunteer with The Courage Garden! Volunteers will assist with garden clean-up activities such as raking, weeding, and general beautification. We will have some Master Gardeners assisting as well.
I am not running this so please have grace if every detail is not perfect. We are joining the Master Gardeners of Golden to help with their beautification project.
Purpose
Volunteers will help preserve and beautify a meaningful memorial space, ensuring it remains a peaceful place for reflection and healing for families and the community. Their efforts support the partner’s mission by honoring those impacted by violence while fostering care, education, and connection through hands-on gardening.
What to Bring:
• Hat, sunscreen, water, personal need items
• Gloves
• Garden trowels (if you have one)
Note:
• Requires a lot of walking or standing for extended periods (1+ hours)
• Must be able to walk short distances on uneven ground
• Involves repeated bending
Location
100 Jefferson County Pkwy, Golden, CO 80401
Parking:
When you turn off Johnson Rd, go straight at the first roundabout then take a left into the parking lot.
Follow the walking ramp that is on the west side of the parking lot and north of the light rail station to a sidewalk. Follow that sidewalk to the garden.
