Backpacking Overnight: Long Hunter State Park

Details
Please RSVP with integrity, as spots are limited. If your plans change and you can't make it, update your RSVP to allow others to join. We will reach out a couple of days before the event and ask you to confirm, removing those that don't respond
Howdy hikers! Bradley will be leading a backpacking overnight at Long Hollow State Park to enjoy some fall weather and good times.
The Volunteer Trailhead is a quick 30min drive from downtown Nashville. The trail is rated as easy, and the 11mi round trip should take less than 2hrs each way for most backpackers. Well behaved doggos are allowed to join and must be leashed.
Reservation is for Group Campsite #2.
We'll meet at the Volunteer/Day Loop Trailhead and plan to get started at 1:30 CST. This will give enough time to set up camp and hang out before sunset. As this is a backpacking trip, you'll need to bring all of your own supplies: food, snacks, water, tent & bedding, weather ready clothing, light, trowel & TP, etc.
Asking $5 per attendee to cover the cost of the site reservation. To be paid via Venmo or cash to Bradley.
Looking forward to hitting the trail with y'all soon!
