BRONX RIVER GATEWAY
Details
The Bronx River runs 8 miles through the borough. We will walk through the parks that run along the southern half, starting from the mouth of the river and ending at an entrance to the Bronx Zoo. Bring lunch (or buy takeout).
Board the Soundview ferry on the East River; it leaves Wall Street/Pier 11 at 10:50 am and makes four stops before arriving at Soundview.
