Yes Folks, the walk is ON for Sun, March 30th. Weather forecasts say it might rain around 9am, but stop by the time we walk, starting at 10am. It will be a cloudy day, with temps in the high 40's. Bring an umbrella just in case, 20% chance of rain at 2pm. *Please change your RSVP if you're not coming so I can get a more accurate number of walkers. Thanks!

Join me on this new walk-approx 5 miles, around the lesser known town of Rowayton, and enjoy tranquil views of Wilson Cove, Farm Creek, and the Long Island Sound.

a. Departure: From Grand Central station take the 9:02 am (New Haven line) train, arriving at 10:06 am. ($19 round trip). I’ll be waiting by the GC station clock to sign up folks before we leave.
b. Nonmembers of Outdoors Club, $5.
c. Lunch: If you don't pack a lunch and water, note that we will stop at Rowayton market, it’s beautiful, historic, does have yummy stuff—(although it will probably be expensive), and of course, it does have (one) bathroom.
d. Normal walking pace, although I will stop to talk about an interesting house, or building as we come to it.
e. Bathrooms. Probably 2 bathroom stops total in Rowayton, just saying.
f. Weather: All day rain cancels. Sunday’s weather does say rainy, but the forecast has been known to change. I will cancel the walk by the afternoon Saturday the 29th if so.
g. Return times to Grand central are once an hour: 2:37pm, 3:37pm etc.
