MOTHER'S DAY MEMORIES AND WALK OVER THE GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE TO NJ

Details
We will meet at 10:00 AM at the George Washington Bridge Bus Station (between Broadway and Fort Washington Avenue and West 178th and West 179th Streets) on the third floor which has bathrooms and a seating area.
Our route of approximately 7-8 moderate miles is walking over the George Washington Bridge to Fort Lee Historic Park which will be our first stop for an iconic photo shoot and interesting information areas. We will then move on to explore a lovely former art colony neighborhood before we continue on the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, walking along the water enjoying fabulous views of New York City and surroundings until we reach Mitsuwa, the Japanese marketplace, our final destination, where we can enjoy lunch, inside or outside, buy or bring your own.
There are buses at Mitsuwa which go to either the Port Authority Bus Terminal or the George Washington Bridge Bus Station in New York City. Please check schedules. Retracing steps back to the George Washington Bridge Bus Station is also an option for the ambitious walker. Limited to 20 participants.
