How to Find Us: Meet in Balsley Park, southeast corner of W 57th St and Ninth Ave. Several subway lines stop nearby, including the N, Q, R, and W at 57th St and Seventh Ave, the 1, A, B, C, and D at Columbus Circle, and the F at 57th St and Sixth Ave. The walk ends where it begins.
Limited to 25 walkers. $5 for non-members of the Outdoors Club.

NOTE: We'll explore 57th St between Ninth Ave and Lexington Ave, walking east on the north side of the street and then west on the south side of the street. The walk will cover about two miles. Among the sights we'll see are three “super-tall” (and super-expensive) towers, the Hearst building, the Art Students League, the Alwyn Court apartment house, Carnegie Hall, the Russian Tea Room, Bergdorf Goodman, Louis Vuitton headquarters, Tiffany's, the Crown Building, and a few hotels, three of which were initially intended to house the “New Woman.”
We'll take a lunch break (bring your own) at about 12:00 noon in the privately owned public space (POPS) in the IBM building, 590 Madison Ave, or in a smaller POPS just west of Lexington Ave.
