This 45-block-long neighborhood has SO MUCH to offer: historical ties to the American Revolution; wonderful museums, murals, parks, bridges, theaters, houses of worship, and Art Deco architecture; and three colleges and universities. Some of NYC’s most iconic baseball history took place in Washington Heights. And the neighborhood is actually still an important sports destination. In addition, Washington Heights has not one, but two, halls of fame. This 65-minute slide presentation, with live commentary, will be followed by plenty of time for comments on any of your own associations with Washington Heights, plus Q&A.
